The International Conference of Veterinary Medicine at Assiut University is a well-established and highly respected scientific forum in the field of veterinary sciences. Since its first launch in 1984, the conference has been held biennially, serving as a major platform for advancing veterinary research and practice. Although it was temporarily suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference resumed its mission of scientific exchange and collaboration.

In 2026, the conference proudly hosts its 20th edition, marking the second gathering since the pandemic. Researchers and experts from around the world convene to present, share, and discuss the latest scientific findings. Through these interactions, participants develop evidence-based recommendations and practical solutions to current challenges affecting animal health, livestock production, poultry industries, companion animals, food hygiene and meat safety.
